FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CAPITAL GRANTS TO OUR TWO SCHOOLS:
After discussion between our principals, parishioners who are educationalists, our parish priest and diocesan education authorities, the parish has been offered and has accepted new capital grants of $5.325million distributed in proportion to the number of students at each school. Projects include new classrooms, multi-purpose rooms, specialist rooms, IT equipment and school ground improvements. Construction of some projects will begin soon, while other projects are in the design phase. All projects are to be completed by January 2011. These new facilities in our two schools will enhance the educational opportunities for our current 806 students as well as the students of future generations.
