Nineteen of us gathered last Wednesday for our first meeting. We began by studying our new three-year target to develop relationships of friendship and faith in our parish, and to use our gifts for the good of all.
We then read Pope John Paul Il’s teaching on the spirituality of communion which is to underpin all our pastoral efforts. The Pope’s words in 2000 are very inspiring.
We studied the roles of the P.C.T. and neighbourhood teams and the representation of the neighbourhoods on the P.C.T.

We looked at beginning some of the proposals agreed on at the Parish Assembly on 16 October. We finally set the six dates for gathering in 2011.
Much energy was in the room and we finished at 9.00pm.
