At the recent Parish Coordinating Team meeting a presentation was given on Men’s Sheds. Problems with men’s health, isolation, loneliness and depression are looming as major health issues for men. Men’s sheds can play a significant and practical role in addressing these and other men’s issues. Men’s sheds can help connect men with their communities and mainstream society and at the same time act as a catalyst in stimulating their community’s economic activities.
The Sunbury Men’s Shed is located at the rear of the Community Health Centre in Macedon St.
Mensheds Australia is incorporated as a not-for-profit Australian Public Company. (ACN No 122 352 372) It was established to quickly and efficiently address the needs of starting, running and growing men’s sheds across Australia.
