Working with St Vincent de Paul, we have visited an Indian family with two adults and two teenage girls. The parents are fully qualified “Accountants” in their own country but after 5 months they are unable to find employment as bookkeepers or accountants. They wish to be able to follow their profession in Australia. The mother has said she would be prepared to work 1 or 2 days per week unpaid while she learns our systems.
