Recently our Ministers of Communion to the Sick shared their challenges and privileges of bringing Holy Communion to the housebound and sick in our Parish. Each minister mentioned:
- The welcome they received on arriving and the joy of their receiving Communion
- The time listening and conversing
- Their interest and importance in Parish-news and continued promise of prayers for those in need
- The sadness they experienced when the one they served dies
We presented each minister with a leaflet of readings and prayer they could use administering Communion. Presently we have 30 ministers serving weekly.
