PARISH MULTICULTURAL DAY Sunday 1 October

PARISH MULTICULTURAL DAY This will be held on Sunday 1 October at 11am in the Parish Centre. Tickets cost $10 and food will be provided. To take part in this great celebration of diverse cultures within our parish contact Garnet Jacob or the Parish Office. All proceeds will support the Parish Youth Group.

SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION FOR YEARS 1 AND 2

FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN IN YEARS 1 & 2 IN OUR PARISH

Families are asked to attend a session preparing the families as their children begin to take part in the first Sacraments since their Baptism. The session will be held in the hub of St Anne’s School this Wednesday 2 August at 6.30pm. Both children and parents from both of our schools will have their own activities during the session which will last one hour. The input and format will be different from the 2016 session.
Families will then be asked to attend Mass on Sunday 6 August at 10.30am to celebrate as a community.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY
The time for Children’s Liturgy Mass next weekend has been changed in order to match with the Family Mass.
It will now be on Sunday 6th August at 10.30am.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD

Children’s Liturgy will be starting at alternating 5.30pm Saturday and 10.30am Sunday Masses in term 3. We have 4 new leaders who will help our children pray at children’s level of understanding. Fun activities and interaction are encouraged at the sessions. All are welcome. Sessions are as follows:
Saturday 22 July 5.30pm
Sunday 30 July 10.30am
Saturday 5 August 5.30pm
Sunday 13 August 10.30am
Saturday 19 August 5.30pm
Sunday 27 August 10.30am
Saturday 2 September 5.30pm
Sunday 10 September 10.30am

SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN BAPTISM

If you have a child who would like to be baptised and is at school already, please contact the Parish Office asap on 9744 1060. We will be organizing preparation and celebration times but have limited times/ dates.

PARISH PLAYGROUP

PARISH PLAYGROUP is run every Tuesday morning (during school term) from 9am-10am in the Parish Centre. All are welcome to come and play with the toys and join together in a social morning. No bookings required. Contact the Parish Office on 9744 1060 if you have any queries.
