RCIA—EASTER VIGIL SUPPER
On Saturday 23 April we will celebrate the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist with our Elect—Michelle Walker, Michael Monahan and Alex & Roslina Yala as they come to full communion with the Catholic Church. After the Vigil we will share supper with them and their families in the Parish Centre. You are all invited to join us in congratulating them and celebrating Easter as a parish community.
Please bring a plate of food to share.

Today (Sunday 10th April) at 8.30am Mass our Elect—Alex, Roslina, Michelle and Michael will be presented with the Lord’s Prayer as they reach another milestone on their continuing Lenten journey towards full communion with the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday.
We offer them our congratulations and prayerful support as Easter approaches.
RCIA
Today, the second Sunday of Lent, our Catechumens, Candidates, their sponsors and families together with the RCIA team will join hundreds of others at the Rite of Election at St Patrick’s Cathedral at 2.30pm. The Candidates and Catechumens are presented on our behalf by their sponsors to the Archbishop and reaffirm their commitment to becoming members of our Catholic community. It is a very moving ceremony which marks the beginning of an intense period of preparation for those who will be received into the Church for the first time at the Easter Vigil. If anyone is interested in attending this inspirational ceremony, you will be most welcome. Contact Jo Wiegerink on 9744 5788 to arrange transport.

R.C.I.A.
R.C.I.A. stands for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. It is a process whereby we can develop our relationship with God, each other and the Catholic community while learning more about Jesus and his Church. If you would like to know more about the Catholic faith, you will be made most welcome at an Enquiry night to be held at the Parish Centre, Riddell Road, Sunbury behind the Parish Office on MONDAY 26 JULY at 7.30pm. The meeting will last for about an hour.

FOUNDATIONS FOR PASTORAL MINISTRY
This Program is for those in parish ministries and other settings to enable them to learn more about their faith and to assist them in their Christian ministries. Brochures of courses beginning in February are at the Welcome Desk.

R C I A
On Sunday 15 November at 10.30am Mass, we will welcome four people interested in becoming Catholics into our parish community.
Alison Fisher, Eni Saban, Sue & Jason White are Inquirers at present but through the Rite of Acceptance on Sunday 15 November, they will enter the Catechumenate and continue to learn about Jesus and the teachings of His church.
Please keep them in your prayers as they commit to continuing their faith journey.

I thank the members of the Catechumenate team who have accompanied Emma and Lisa over the past eight months and Richard Hallett for accompanying the younger new Catholics.
